This is from Pegasus models, and it shows an alien from the 2005 Steven Spielberg-directed remake of War Of The Worlds. The base comes with the alien, and it's 1/8th scale. What you're seeing is the third paint job on this sucker. The first two, which I tried a wash of various gray color scheme, didn't work out so well.

So I re-painted the alien overall in Torpical Blue, painted the recessed areas with a dark shade of Uniform Blue, and then gave him a drybrushing of Tropical Blue mixed with Flast White. The end result looks pretty close to what I was going for, which was an unearthly look, and I'm happy with it.
